The Evolving Cyber Security Threats of the African Continent

EVENT OVERVIEW

From ransomware to phishing to malware and credential theft, users are not protecting themselves adequately. Phishing and social engineering have now spread to other communication channels and perpetrators are now using advanced technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning to gather information, and dupe end users. The workplace landscape has evolved post COVID-19, and with the rise of remote working, end users are now responsible for setting up their home offices, which are usually geared for convenience and accessibility rather than security. End-users must be made aware, informed, and trained on the prevailing and evolving risks of cyber security, and the importance of investing in a robust infrastructure.
