Stefan J. Rüter, born 1972, is Chief Financial Officer at Oman Airports. The national airport operator of the Sultanate of Oman just recently opened its new terminal at the Muscat International Airport in March 2018. Beside Muscat, Oman Airports operates three additional civil as well as three oil field airports of the local oil producing company. In addition to the airport business, Oman Airports owns and operates Oman Groundhandling as well as Transom SATS Cargo, a premiere cargo operation handler. Within the airport group, Stefan is in charge of all Finance related matters and was before also responsible for Contracts and Procurement as well as the Stores. Before joining the company in August 2017, Stefan was Senior Vice President Finance and Investor Relations at Fraport AG, one of the biggest airport operators worldwide, based in Frankfurt - Germany. From the very beginning of his career Stefan completed a bank training and graduated as Master in International Finance and Law. After his study, Stefan started in 1999 at Continental AG, a German blue chip automotive supplier, first in Corporate Finance and later in Investor Relations.

He is a Certified Treasury & Finance Professional (CTFP), Accredited Financial Analyst (AFA) and Chartered Economist (ChE), as well as a holder of a Certificate in Accounts, Banking & Trade. Abdul Razzaq is also an Independent Board Director of Musaf Muscat Funds. Formerly, he also served the Board of Oman Shipping Company SAOG as an Independent Board of Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
